The unit is rated at the American Refrigeration Institute's National Standard of 95 degree F ambient and 44 degree F chilled water.
Energy Saving Design-- The unit will cycle on and off with varied load demands. No hot gas bypass.
Closed loop system eliminates contamination of the water system by recycling the water in a contaminant free flow path.
The Water Pump is bronze or stainless steel, and contaminate free.
Utilizes environmentally friendly R-22 refrigerant.
Ethylene glycol is not required for normal operating conditions. The unit will NOT be damaged due to an accidental freeze up.
Uses a world-renowned Tecumseh^TM compressor.
The Condenser is designed to allow full capacity at higher temperatures.

Note about the Tonage Ratings:
The TrueTon^TM label assures that every Schreiber Chiller meets or exceeds its stated BTU performance as measured by the American Refrigeration Institute standard testing methods. Be careful, since not all chiller manufacturers test to the same standards.

Caution:
Do not overcharge this, or any, refrigeration system. The refrigeration sight glass is only an indicator of coolant being in the system. The sight glass should never be filled when charging the system, and will always be fuzzy. Overcharging the system will damage the compressor.
